A Gentle Glow for Peaceful Nights

A 3D-Printed Luminous Bedside Light

​

Inspired by cathedral elegance, its soft, diffused glow and delicate hollowed design create a warm, peaceful ambiance perfect for moments of rest and comfort.

The luminaire’s upper section blooms with an intricate floral design, brought to life through translucent TPU, casting a glow as mesmerizing and sacred as a church window.

The base, shaped with precision, features multiple 45-degree chamfers—perfectly engineered for smooth 3D printing and structural elegance.

Through slicing software analysis, we discovered that sharp 90-degree angles in the first print layer can lead to warping. By softening the edges with gentle curves, we ensure a flawless, stable print every time.

Traditional Chinese elegance, this fluid, ribbon-like form bends softly like a stream, casting intricate, dynamic shadows.

Inspired by the serene beauty of church cathedrals, this light design blends smooth cubic and organic forms.

Its hollowed-out structure, featuring four faces, creates intriguing radiation angles that cast soft, peaceful illumination, evoking a sense of tranquility and reverence

We tried to print and modified the size for both tops and bottom base several times.

 

Make sure the size is printable on the platform.
